For a band that only existed for four years and recorded two full studio albums, Joy Division’s music has had a lasting influence on fans and musicians alike. Released in 2008, The Best of Joy Division contains tracks from both studio albums, plus singles that were released following the death of lead singer Ian Curtis, who committed suicide in 1980.
