Hodge becomes the target of Duvic’s attempt to locate Baltimore to “cleanse” him of the evil that he believes has infested the man. The tale of the Judge’s dark past begins to unfold during his jail cell inquest, revealing a hell-bent mentor in the priesthood and a lifetime of horrific trials and torture.
