It’s the first full day of Comic-Con, and studios will be out in full force releasing all sorts of promotion to push their films, and amp up excitement in anticipation for their release. Today, Lionsgate will take over Hall H, and they are starting things a little early by releasing two new posters for The Last Witch Hunter starring Vin Diesel. These two posters feature two different iterations of Vin Diesel’s character, one representing his past self in the film, while the other is a modern-day version of the character, Kaulder.

Lionsgate and Summit Entertainment have released the first trailer for Breck Eisner‘s The Last Witch Hunter, starring Vin Diesel as the titular character, who is tasked with preventing a coven of witches from unleashing a plague on New York City.

Based on the trailer, the film looks like a culmination of Underworld, Blade, I, Frankenstein, Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters, and other contemporary supernatural hunter films. That being said, there is no reason to believe that this could not be any fun to watch. After all he will be joined by Julie Engelbrecht, Elijah Wood, Michael Caine, and Rose Leslie.
