Final Trailer For Zack Snyder’s ‘Man Of Steel’ Released

Director Zack Snyder‘s contribution to the Superman franchise, Man of Steel, will finally arrive in theaters next Friday, June 14th. Until then, one more new trailer has been released to hold you over.

The new trailer focuses more on visuals than anything, with a little bit of dialogue from Superman’s father, Jor-El (Russell Crowe).

‘Man Of Steel’ Publicity Special Gives Us Our Most Extensive Look At The Movie Yet

In less than two weeks the moviegoing world will behold Man of Steel, and we will finally see if the very enthusiastic hype that has been building around Zack Snyder‘s much-anticipated reboot of the Superman movie franchise is worth believing.

Warner Bros. has decided to keep the marketing fires burning ultra hot by releasing a 13-minute “publicity special” for the movie. You can watch it here below.

Snyder, writer David Goyer, producer Deborah Snyder, production designer Alex McDowell, and actors Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Lawrence Fishburne, Russell Crowe, Diane Lane, and Kevin Costner are all interviewed for this new featurette. It was put together strictly for promotional purposes while allowing the cast and crew to discuss the characters and themes of this bold and epic take on DC Comics’ legendary strange visitor from another planet with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men.

New ‘Man Of Steel’ Character Posters Show Russell Crowe As Jor-El, Michael Shannon As Zod

A trio of new Man of Steel character posters have been released by Warner Brothers, and can be seen below.

The posters show off star Henry Cavill as Superman, which we’ve seen plenty of; Michael Shannon as General Zod, which we’ve seen some of; and a nice close look at Russell Crowe as Jor-El, Superman’s father, who we haven’t seen much of…including his massive Kryptonian boomstick.

The “S” Marks The Spot In This New ‘Man Of Steel’ Poster

Oh wait, it’s not an “s”. It’s the Kryptonian symbol for hope. My bad.

The latest – and most likely final – poster for Man of Steel has been released. You can check it out here below.

It’s big, loaded with celebrity names, and is awe-inspiring. It also unsurprisingly recalls the iconic theatrical release for 1978’s Superman: The Movie, which featured the classic “S” shield displayed against a cloudy backdrop with a red, blue, and yellow streak blasting through it. The Man of Steel poster has Big Blue soaring to the top, but in the 1978 poster we already knew who was responsible for that rainbow-colored streak of life and light.

A strange viral for Zack Snyder‘s Man of Steel appeared recently, where General Zod (Michael Shannon) issued the denizens of Earth an ultimatum: bring the last son of Krypton (Henry Cavill) to him or suffer dire consequences. Does the world answer the call or do they stand behind the Man of Steel and fight back? The third trailer for the film has finally arrived, and it answers that question. But also raises a few more about the legendary DC Comics hero.
