New ‘Kingdom Come: Deliverance’ Armor and RPG Video
  |  @   |

It’s been a long, long time since we first saw that tech demo for an untitled medieval RPG from Warhorse Studios—back when we still weren’t even sure what “next-gen” would look like. The tech demo would eventually become Kingdom Come: Deliverance, and those excited about the game were able to chip in to help get it made and also watch it take form over the years. Not something you often have access to as a fan.

While it was originally thought that the game would release sometime in 2014 or 2015, it’s still being worked on to this day. Part of the reason for that is the amount of work being put into making it as detailed as possible. A video has been released offering examples of this. In it, we get a look at some of the role-playing game aspects, as well as the multi-layer armor options. You can read much more about Kingdom Come and check out the video below.

Now a full trailer for the game has been released, complete with plenty of gameplay footage, and it’s looking incredible so far…helped along by plenty of new details about what you can expect from this massive open-world RPG. You can learn more and watch the trailer below!

‘Mafia 2’ Developer Announces ‘Kingdom Come: Deliverance’ For PC, Next-Gen Consoles; Trailer Released
  |  @   |

Last year (for a few more hours anyway), we shared with you a tech demo for a next-gen medieval RPG being developed by Warhorse Studios, a Czech company founded in 2011 by people who worked on both Mafia and Mafia 2 and other gamemakers.

The demo was shown when the game was in the early stages of development, and very little existed apart from some settings to look at at the time. It took a while, but Warhorse has finally made this game official, with the announcement of a title, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, a release window, and the game’s first teaser trailer. You can find more info on the game and check out the trailer below.

Watch Now: 10-Minute Next-Gen Video Game Tech Demo For Medieval RPG
  |  @   |

Curious what next generation video games will look like? It’s hard to say until we’ve seen an official demonstration of a completed game, but for now, we have ways to get an idea. The best two examples came at E3 when we saw the first footage from upcoming games Watch Dogs and Star Wars 1313—both of which are assumed to be next-gen games.

Today brings a very early next-gen demonstration peek at. It comes from Warhorse Studios, makers of Mafia and Mafia II, who are working on a medieval RPG for the consoles of the future using the CryEngine 3. It’s only an environment right now, but boy is it pretty (to us console players anyway; PC gamers will run around, beating their chests and scoffing at such cheap and cartoonish graphics). It will be very interesting to see what this game looks like when it’s released in 2014 or 2015.

You can check out the next-gen tech demo below.
