Catherine Hardwicke‘s Twilight started the craze in 2008 with teens everywhere taking sides as either Team Edward or Team Jacob. Based on the books by Stephenie Meyer, young Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) was the envy of every girl, to have the heart of sparkly vampire, Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and abs-olutely hunky Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner).
Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska are the newest members of the new Charlie’s Angels. The film, which will be directed by Elizabeth Banks, will now focus on a new group of Charlie’s Angels for a new generation. More on the story here below.
The Hollywood Reporter says the film’s “new story takes the detective agency premise of the original television series and turn-of-the new century movies and takes it global, with the Townsend Agency now a worldwide security and intelligence service that has teams around the planet. The movie will focus on one of those teams and the next generation of Angels.”
A trailer has been released for the latest title from writer and director Woody Allen, titled Cafe Society.
The movie is a romantic dramedy set in Hollywood and New York in the 1930s, and stars Jesse Eisenberg, Kristen Stewart, Steve Carell, Jeannie Berlin, Blake Lively, Corey Stoll, Parker Posey, Ken Stott, Anna Camp, and Woody as the narrator.
You can read more about the movie and check out the trailer below.
The first trailer for Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk from two-time Academy Award winning Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Brokeback Mountain, and Life of Pi director Ang Lee has been released online by Sony Pictures.
The movie, which is based on the book of the same name from author Ben Fountain, follows Billy Lynn who is being celebrated with some fellow soldiers during the halftime show of a football game after a battle in Iraq. It stars newcomer Joe Alwyn as Billy Lynn, as well as Kristen Stewart, Chris Tucker, Garrett Hedlund, Vin Diesel, and Steve Martin.

Recently we found out that Frank Darabont was on the shortlist of potential directors for Snow White and the Huntsman 2, the follow-up to 2012’s re-imagining of the fairy tale that starred Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth, and Charlize Theron, and was directed by Rupert Sanders.
The news that Darabont was a candidate seemed odd. Why would the director of The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile, and the TV series creator of AMC’s The Walking Dead, be interested in making not only a sequel to a movie he wasn’t involved in, but a sequel to a movie that also received mediocre critical response (48% on Rotten Tomatoes, 6.2/10 on IMDB)?
But it appears that the interest is real and something about the project has appealed to Darabont, as it is now being reported that he’s officially in talks to direct Snow White and the Huntsman 2.
