For Black Friday weekend, Amazon is offering up Lightning Deals, limited quantities of various products for a discounted price for a 4-hour window of time. You have to be on the lookout for these deals and once the item runs out, the sale is over. Meaning, if you see something on sale that you want, buy it immediately before it’s gone.
Amazon has released the Lightning Deal schedule and prices for Movies & TV on DVD and Blu-ray for Saturday, November 24, starting at 8:20AM PST (that’s 11:20AM EST) and running through 8:20pm PST. Fans of DreamWorks Animation’s Kung Fu Panda and Madagascar franchises will be happy to learn that new features from both are now confirmed to be on the way.
During their panel at San Diego Comic-Con, the studio’s CCO, Bill Damaschke, confirmed that Kung Fu Panda 3 was indeed on the way, though it wasn’t announced when we might see the trilogy-maker. The 2008 original made $631.7 million worldwide, while its sequel, Kung Fu Panda 2, made $665.6 million, making the decision to roll again quite easy.
Next up comes another new image from the upcoming sequel, Kung Fu Panda 2, which shows Po (Jack Black) and a couple of his friends on their way to some animated shenanigans. Even better, Bleeding Cool was able to get their hands on a much bigger and much better quality version of the image for our eyes to enjoy.

The very first teaser trailer for Kung Fu Panda 2 is being run in front of DreamWorks Animation’s newest movie, Megamind, which just hit theaters this past weekend and took the #1 spot with a $46 million domestic take.
The trailer was also released on DreamWorks’ official Kung Fu Panda website, and you can see it here and now below!
The movie, for as long as its existence has been known, has been called Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom of Doom. Now it appears that they’ve dropped the Kaboom and just gone with the traditional numerical title. This saddens me a bit, as most of the sub-titles we see these days are pretty horrible and The Kaboom of Doom was actually pretty playful and fun. Just the number “2” is boring. Bring back the Kaboom!

Last week we found out that Gary Oldman would be joining the cast of Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom of Doom. Now DreamWorks Animation has revealed the names of some other actors who’ve joined the cast of the sequel to the 2008 hit, Kung Fu Panda.
Most interesting of them all is the addition of the man, the myth, the legend, Jean-Claude Van Damme. The action star has been pretty much disappeared off the Hollywood radar aside for the role as himself in JCVD and a couple of returns to his Universal Soldier role.
