Welcome to my newest book review. Or should I say deck review? Recipe card review? Oh, whatever. Here is my newest Dungeons & Dragons-related review! Here we have Heroes’ Feast: The Deck of Many Morsels, which is a big honking box of recipe cards, hence my pondering what to call this article (although, this card set was created by the authors of Heroes’ Feast Flavors of the Multiverse: An Official D&D Cookbook). Herein are 50 cards that cover yummy appetizers, sweet snacks, and refreshing drinks, all for your consumption before, during, or after a D&D game! Of course, you may find that some of these make the regular meal rotation, as a few are simply amazing!

Good day and well met, friends! It boggles my mind to think that we are living in an age where Dungeons & Dragons has been so deeply ingrained into our culture that there are literal cookbooks to help create the perfect setting for any campaign. In my day (he says in his old man voice), we made do with Pizza Hut pepperoni pizzas and 7-Eleven Big Gulps to satisfy our sustenance needs whilst rolling our clickity clacking funny-shaped dice. Of course, teen-aged me was about as uncouth as you can imagine. A big change in my cuisine was the addition of taco-flavored Doritos. But the addition of books like Heroes’ Feast Flavors of the Multiverse: An Official D&D Cookbook has really raised the bar. In fact, one might even say it has taken the gameplay up a level. Get it? Up a level? I crack myself up, you know. But anyway, you are not here for my lame jokes, soon with the review!

Well met, readers! I hope you are having the best of days and find success in all that you do. How goes my day, you ask? Splendidly, I must say, for I get the distinct pleasure of raving about a beautiful tome that found its way to my home just days ago. It was accompanied by many of its friends, but I will concentrate solely on this book, Lore & Legends: A Visual Celebration of the Fifth Edition of the World’s Greatest Roleplaying Game. This references, of course, the game of Dungeons & Dragons, a franchise of gaming that has helped my interests, passion, and some small fortune of mine that I have invested in supplies and whatnot. Time, effort, and money well spent, I must say.

Foreword by Joe Manganiello
Publisher: Ten Speed Press

This book made me cry. No, I am not exaggerating, I literally shed tears while I read this. Dungeons & Dragons: Art & Arcana: A Visual History is filled with so much gaming history and nostalgia that I found myself wishing I was a teenager again and could structure my weekends around role playing games and close friends. If nothing else, I sat back and enjoyed the flood of great memories that came as I flipped from page to page. It was both a sad and a happy time spent with this massive tome.

Video: ‘Fanboys’ Trailer & Clips!
Fanboys very much embraces all that is geek, telling the tale of group of friends in 1998 who risk it all to break into the Skywalker ranch and steal a copy of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace for their dying friend.
Along the way, they encounter about as many icons in fanboydom as possible, including multiple cast members from various Star Wars movies, celebrity fanboy Kevin Smith, and even William Shatner. Word is, somewhere along the way there is a confrontation among Trekkies and Star Wars fans, which could be worth seeing on its own.
To help pass the time until you and I do get the chance to see it there are a couple of new clips online. One is a funny Skywalker Ranch hostage situation and the other involves the usage of the Jedi mind trick.
