Earlier this week Netflix released a teaser trailer for Ozark, one of their upcoming original series.
The series stars Laura Linney, Jason Bateman, Sofia Hublitz, and Skylar Gaertner as a mostly normal family. Normal apart from the fact that Bateman’s character launders money for a Mexican drug lord.

Focus Features has released the first trailer for Nocturnal Animals starring Amy Adams and Jake Gyllenhaal.
Directed by Tom Ford (A Single Man), the film is an adaptation Tony and Susan by Austin Wright that tells a story of love and revenge from two different perspectives, one from the point of view of Adam’s character who committed an unbelievable act of betrayal while the other focuses on Gyllenhaal’s character who has written a book about said betrayal and dedicated it to his estranged wife. Check out the full trailer below.
Warner Brothers Pictures has released the first trailer for Sully, which is directed by four-time Academy Award winner Clint Eastwood and stars two-time Oscar winner Tom Hanks in the title role.
The movie tells the story of pilot Sully Sullenberger, who saved the lives of 155 people by making an emergency landing on the Hudson river back in 2009. But also covers the side of the story not nearly as many people are familiar with.

I gave Jonathan Liebesman’s 2014 film, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, a pretty definitive thumbs-down:
“I wish someone had regarded this movie as something more than an opportunity to sell action figures and create product placement opportunities for Pizza Hut and Orange Crush. I wish someone involved would’ve given at least one shit – but of course we’re talking about the same people who churn out brain-dead Transformers movies filled with racist stereotypes and giant robots with wrecking balls for testicles.”
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows does something its predecessor didn’t. It tries. Is it successful? Not entirely, but at least Paramount Pictures and Platinum Dunes are making an effort to deliver an experience fans of Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman‘s beloved characters can appreciate.
