Warning – SPOILERS for The Walking Dead Season 6…

On The Walking Dead last week, it became clear that the residents at the Alexandria Safe Zone were in dire need of food, and a way to produce more food. Rick and Daryl went out on a supply run, and instead of coming back with the grain they so desperately need for survival, they return with a man named Jesus, who, at that point, they didn’t know whether they could trust him.

By the end of the episode, fear and survival were put on hold so that Rick and Michonne can spend the night together, much to the delight of Walking Dead fans the world over! But, the morning after, instead of being able to bask in the afterglow of their love, they awake to Jesus standing at the foot of their bed wanting to talk.

In this week’s installment, Episode 6.11 “Knots Untie,” it’s time for Jesus to do some explaining. Who is he? Where is he from? And what does he want?

Warning – SPOILERS for The Walking Dead Season 6…

Last week saw a lot of loss, with the Walker attack that killed young Sam and his mom Jessie, the latter of whom seemed to be a nice love interest for Rick. Then there was Carl’s grave injury — shot in the eye by his teen nemesis Ron, who was cut down by Michonne — and it seemed like he wouldn’t pull through. Lastly, there was the death of the Wolf guy, who seemed to actually make a surprising change when he risked his life to save Denise.

But in light of all this loss came a uniting of all the residents of the Alexandria Safe Zone, who bravely faced the invading Walkers and beat them to finally come together as one people, a group under the leadership of Rick, who now sees clearly the good the future holds for his son and his people.

Unfortunately, this future includes some unforeseen elements, namely the coming of the villainous Negan, who, no, still hasn’t physically shown up yet. But, a new character did on Episode 6.10 “The Next World” “” Paul, aka Jesus, who is a character from the comics. In his debut episode, Jesus proves that he’s a formidable character, but there’s obviously more to him than meets the eye after we see him toying with Rick and Daryl. But more on that later, because oh man did something outstanding happen in this episode!!!!

Warning – SPOILERS for The Walking Dead Season 6…

Last November saw the mid-season 6 finale for AMC’s The Walking Dead, where it seemed like the residents of the Alexandria Safe Zone were finally getting along, tiptoeing through the tulips so to speak, and planning to secure their future together as a true community. But, as I say in nearly ever review I write of this show, Rick was right once again — Alexandria was not as safe as its original residents believed, and in a blink of an eye, the walls were breached, bringing in a siege of walkers. Last we saw of Rick and company they were trying to get to safety passed a herd of walkers using one of his old tricks — covering themselves in walker guts and quietly walking right through the undead crowd undetected. Meanwhile, right outside the gates, Glenn and Enid were trying to find a way back into Alexandria, while out on the road Daryl, Sasha, and Abraham were finally on their way back home to join the others.

In the preview for Episode 6.9 “No Way Out” of The Walking Dead, the mid-season 6 premiere, we saw that, unfortunately, the latter trio had a run-in with a group of gun-toting men who work for Negan, a new big baddie, who will be played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan. We learned quickly that these men are not good people, and they will take what they want from anyone who crosses their path.

Warning – SPOILERS for The Walking Dead Season 6″¦

Seriously”¦”¦”¦ SPOILERS”¦”¦

Episode 6.8, “Start To Finish,” is the mid-season finale of The Walking Dead, which means we’ll have to wait till February to find out what happened to the residents of the Alexandria Safe Zone after the latest Walker attack. Because AMC loves to torture us.

The Alexandria Safe Zone was supposed to be a piece of paradise inside the hell on earth that exists in the post-apocalyptic Walking Dead universe. But, as Tara and Rosita say in this episode, a place like this comes with a price. Many have died already, and now, it seems that their existence at the Safe Zone might, in fact, be “over.”

Rick and his group have gone from place to place trying to find a real home to settle in: First, it was their crude encampment with the RV. Then there was Hershel’s idyllic farm, but it wasn’t a stronghold. The Governor infiltrated the confines of the Prison, and the too-good-to-be-true Terminus turned out to be a cannibal holocaust. The Alexandria Safe Zone was supposed to be their final destination, a true safe haven that was protected against the walkers, as well as a throwback to life before the dead began rising. But, that throwback proved to be a little too much comfort. Without a common enemy to fight (i.e., the Walkers), the Alexandrians got caught up in too much drama. It seems as though the residents let their human squabbles blind them to the point where they forgot that the end of the world had come, and the time for such trivialities was long passed.

Warning – SPOILERS for The Walking Dead Season 6…

Seriously……… SPOILERS……

Back in the third episode of Season 6 of The Walking Dead, 6.3 “Thank You”, audiences were shocked and dismayed by the very real possibility that Glenn is dead. Since then, every episode has been a wait to see if Glenn was actually killed or if he managed to somehow survive. As the weeks passed, it seemed more and more like Glenn is gone, and last week, his pregnant wife, Maggie, even seemed to be coming to terms with the loss after abandoning her plans to go out and look for him.

And this week, we FINALLY find out WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO GLENN!!!!!!!!

Let’s get the important part out of the way:

HE’S ALIVE!!!! GLENN IS ALIVE!!!!!!

Oh man, what we’ve been through to get to this point. The torment!

But, Glenn’s alive and he’s on his way back home to the Alexandria Safe Zone.

Here’s what happened”¦
