Warning – SPOILERS for The Walking Dead Season 6…

In the previous episode, 6.5 “Now,” of The Walking Dead, Rick had returned to the Safe Zone, and so had Michonne and her group, after the community was attacked by the Wolves. While the audience knew what happened to Glenn and Nicholas, the residents still held out hope for their return — and every fan of the show is still waiting for a miracle that would bring Glenn back. What neither the residents nor the audience knew yet is what happened to Daryl, Sasha, and Abraham. The trio had continued with the original mission to lure a pack of Walkers away from the Alexandria Safe Zone, while Rick and Michonne’s respective groups went to deal with the Walkers that had been drawn away from the path by the loud horn emanating from the Safe Zone, which was under attack by the Wolves.

On this week’s The Walking Dead, Episode 6.6 “Always Accountable,” we finally got to see what happened to Daryl, Sasha, and Abraham in a story that stays solely on them and their encounters.

Warning – SPOILERS for The Walking Dead Season 6…

The big focus so far of Season 6 of The Walking Dead has been the threat to the Alexandria Safe Zone not only from the surrounding undead Walkers, but also from the invading human Wolves, all of which is happening in the face of dwindling supplies and rations, as well as hostilities amongst the residents.

Back in Episode 6.3, Glenn was seemingly killed, shocking audiences, and making us all despondent as we awaited confirmation on this major character’s fate. The follow-up episode not only did not give that confirmation, it swayed completely away from the people of Alexandria, and instead focused entirely on Morgan (Lennie James) and his journey. It was undoubtedly an amazing episode in the series that had it been shown at a different order in the season, everyone would likely have eaten it up. Instead, we all sat on pins and needles wondering what happened to Glenn. Could he have survived that Walker attack?

Warning – SPOILERS for The Walking Dead Episode 6.3 “Thank You”

Last week’s The Walking Dead, Episode 6.2 “JSS” showed us what happened when the Wolves attacked the citizens of the Alexandria Safe Zone while the Rick and his group — the bulk of the “fighters” — were leading the Walkers away from the area.

This week, in Episode 6.3 “Thank You,” we see what happened with Rick and his group while the Alexandrians — led by Carol — were defending their homes. Rick’s team heard the loud horn sounding near the Safe Zone, which then drew the Walkers back there, so they had to decide: do they go forward in their mission to lead the Walkers far away, or do they run back home to protect their people?

In the end, Rick realizes that they can’t abandon their mission because they still have half the herd following them away from the Safe Zone, so they have to keep going. But, they still have to get the other half of the Walkers who were diverted. That means, the group has to break up again, and come up with a new plan.

‘The Walking Dead’: Inside Episode 6.2 “JSS” (Video)

SPOILERS for The Walking Dead Episode 6.2 “JSS”

AMC’s The Walking Dead Episode 6.2 “JSS” aired last night and it gave us the chance to see how this group of survivors would fare without our A list of heroes, like Rick, Daryl, Michonne, and Glenn. And while some managed to survive, it had a lot to do with Morgan and Carol, who both were quick to jump into action. While Morgan has the skills to take on multiple attackers at once, his struggle to retain his humanity becomes a hindrance at times when the Wolves attack the Alexandria Safe Zone. Carol infiltrate and sneak-attack approach was much more practical and effective.

The network has released the “most talked about scene” from the episode, which sees Jessie defending her children and her home against one of the invading Wolves. AMC has also released two behind-the-scenes featurettes — one is a 3 1/2-minute “Making of” featurette about the invasion of the Wolves, while the other is a 4-minute “Inside Look” that focuses on Carol’s heroics, Morgan’s struggles, and the horrible danger that the Zonies never knew existed.

See below for all the aforementioned videos.

Warning – SPOILERS for The Walking Dead Episode 6.2 “JSS.”

Last week’s Season 6 premiere of The Walking Dead, Episode 6.1 “Last Time Again” filled in the gaps of what happened right after the events of the Season 5 finale, and what’s happening now with Rick Grimes and the residents Alexandria Safe Zone. While outside the community walls, Rick and Morgan discovered how it is that the Safe Zone has yet to invaded by Walkers — the undead in the surrounding area have become trapped at the bottom of nearby granite quarry.

While anyone else would be thrilled to know that the Walkers are contained, Rick isn’t, because he’s practical. He knows that it’s only a matter of time before the quarry barricade is breached, and the Walkers come knocking at the walls of the Safe Zone. It took some convincing, but eventually everyone came on board with Rick’s new plan to be proactive and corral the Walkers to an area 20 miles away. The plan was, Miraculously, working… until it wasn’t anymore when a blaring horn began sounding, leading the Walkers away and back towards the Safe Zone.
