E3 2018: ‘Tunic’ Gameplay Trailer
  |  @   |

Last week’s E3 conference was full of many big announcements, yet one indie title managed to turn heads. That game was Tunic, a Microsoft exclusive developed by Andrew Shouldice (studio Dicey) and published by Finji.

Tunic is an action adventure game, where you play a tiny fox who seeks to uncover mysterious secrets all while exploring ancient ruins and fighting monsters in a big world. The game previously made its debut at last year’s E3 under the title Secret Legend.

You can check out the new gameplay trailer, along with the previously released teaser trailer if you missed it, here after the break.

Netflix Developing Live-Action ‘Legend Of Zelda’ Series
  |  @   |

The Legend of Zelda became an early hit on the Nintendo Entertainment System back in the mid 80’s. The series is reportedly in the early stages of development at Netflix, who’s working closely with Nintendo and looking for writers, with the aim of making it a family friendly Game of Thrones-like series. With plenty of swords, shields, princesses, and evil sorcerers, it’s not too big of a stretch to see why that world might work for that plan.

  |  @   |

Once upon a time, a few years back now, Imagi Animation Studios put together some footage of what an animated movie take on the classic video game franchise The Legend of Zelda might look like in order to pitch the movie to Nintendo. Imagi, for those who don’t recognize the name, was responsible for the 2007 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated flick TMNT, as well as 2009’s Astroboy.

The Zelda movie was pitched back in ’07, and, unless you’ve been in a coma, cryogenically frozen, or are from another planet (in which case, welcome!) you’re probably aware that things did not go well, as the movie does not exist yet.

But what does exist is some footage from that video pitch that was made to Nintendo, and you can see what their vision for a Zelda movie looked like below.
