Fox’s Unconventional Marketing Campaign For Ang Lee’s ‘Life Of Pi’

Prometheus was the first, and more scenes will be shown when Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter hits theaters later this month. Now I am kind of upset at myself for not watching Prometheus in 3D.

It’s a new strategy for the studio to get audiences interested in the movie. They haven’t even shown a teaser trailer yet. I haven’t heard any reactions to these clips so I can’t make any real judgments. Perhaps it’s because the audience didn’t know what Life of Pi is to begin with.

It should be interesting to see what kind of footage we will be seeing from Lee’s latest directorial effort. Hopefully these clips are compelling enough to get audiences excited to see Life of Pi, which will open in theaters this November.
