‘Loki’ Series On Disney+ Will Also Connect To ‘Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness’

When it was announced that Marvel Studios would be releasing a number of TV series on Disney’s new streaming service Disney+ it was implied that they would connect to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, more so than the previous Marvel TV series. That theory was proven to be true when it was announced that WandaVision would be connected to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

But that isn’t the only show to tie into the Doctor Strange sequel. Now it has been confirmed that Loki will be connected as well. More on the report below.

SDCC 2019: Disney+’s ‘Loki’ Will Bring Back The God Of Mischief

Everyone’s fan-favorite Marvel Cinematic Universe anti-hero and occasional villain Loki (Tom Hiddleston) will be making a move to the small screen in the upcoming series Loki.

It was announced last year that Loki will be appearing in a show coming to Disney+, Disney’s exclusive streaming series. While there has been some wild speculations and unconfirmed rumors on what we could see in the show and how the character will function in it, it seems that Avengers: Endgame laid out all the groundwork for the series. ‘Falcon and Winter Soldier’ and ‘WandaVision’ Confirmed For Disney+

For a long time, we’ve heard about how the Marvel Cinematic Universe will expand into television on Disney’s streaming subscription service, Disney+. One of the first shows to be announced was Loki, which would star Tom Hiddleston as the titular character on a show that would have Quantum Leap vibes. Next up, Falcon and Winter Soldier, and Scarlet Witch and Vision. These would focus on these pairs in new stories that would take place after Avengers: Endgame. Additionally, there would be Marvel Studios’ first animated show called What If, and the newly announced Hawkeye show that will bring back Jeremy Renner to play the title character who will teach Kate Bishop how to be an Avengers archer.

Now, during an investors meeting, Disney confirmed that Falcon and Winter Soldier, and the Scarlet Witch and Vision show which is now being called WandaVision, are being added to their Marvel Studios television lineup. More on the report below.

Kevin Feige Talks About Marvel Shows On Disney+

It’s official. The Disney+ Marvel shows will be connected to the MCU.

Now, that may sound familiar in terms of how connected Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the now cancelled Netflix Marvel shows are. But this time, it appears to be true. At least, according to Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige. More on the report below.

Disney+’s Loki Series Hires ‘Rick and Morty’ Writer As Showrunner

Disney’s shows for its upcoming streaming service, Disney+, are already shaping up to be something worth watching, especially on the Marvel front.

And now one writer behind a very hilarious show is being brought in to act as showrunner for one of them. According to various reports, Rick and Morty writer Michael Waldron will be the showrunner for the untitled Loki show. A nice pairing when you think about it considering all of the humor the Adult Swim show is known for and Loki’s penchant for mischief. More on the report below.
