Two new treats came out of Gotham city yesterday. FOX released a new Gotham/Lucifer trailer, and Poison Ivy (Maggie Geha) was revealed as all grown up! With the premiere of season 3 a little over a month away, we also have the Gotham cast looking seriously dapper in their 3rd season photos.

The Lucifer cast (and EPs) held a panel discussion Saturday night at San Diego Comic-Con to give fans a treat about what has happened and what is to come on this “wicked” show. This Neil Gaiman character inspired show has been a surprising hit, which is no surprise to me – a funny, sexy devil with an accent plays reluctant hero. Sounds like every TV crush I’ve ever had. The panel included stars Tom Ellis and D.B. Woodside who play brothers Lucifer and Amenadiel.
Looks like the Devil has moved to the City of Angels.
FOX has just released the first trailer for Lucifer, their new television series premiering in 2016. The show, which is based on the character created by Neil Gaiman in his Sandman comic book series, features Lucifer, the Devil himself, who’s become bored with lording over Hell, so he heads to Earth to Los Angeles to have some fun.
Watch the first 3-minute trailer here below, along with an inside look at the new FOX series.
A deal has been reached between Fox and Warner Bros. TV for a pilot order for a Lucifer television series after a lengthy negotiation that had resulted in a put-pilot order back in September.
Fox has ordered the pilot, which will be directed by Len Wiseman, who will also executive produce, according to THR, which added that Jerry Bruckheimer has come on as executive producer along with members from his Jerry Bruckheimer Television team.
We were teased for year with the prospect of a television adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s DC/Vertigo Comics series Sandman, but that eventually turned into plans for a big screen adaptation. Now, a character from the Sandman universe will be making its way to the small screen from Warner Bros. TV and FOX for DC Entertainment.
FOX has committed to producing a “put pilot” for Lucifer, DC/Vertigo’s Sandman spin-off comic book series written by Mike Carey (Unwritten, Hellblazer), according to Deadline. Tom Kapinos, creator/executive producer for Californication, along with Warner Bros. TV — the company behind all the DC universe television projects (including the upcoming Batman prequel series Gotham) — are behind the pilot.
