Green Book Director: Peter Farrelly Writers: Peter Farrelly, Nick Vallelonga, Brian Currie Cast: Viggo Mortensen, Mahershala Ali, Linda Cardellini Studio: Universal Pictures Rated R | 130 Minutes Release Date: November 16, 2018
Race is a touchy subject for any film to address. But Peter Farrelly‘s Green Book addresses it earnestly and with heartwarming charm. Viggo Mortensen and Mahershala Ali give us two of the most powerful performances of the year.
While it is a familiar story that doesn’t do anything groundbreaking, it reminds us that something as simple as friendship can be powerful enough to break down the barriers of racism and social inequalities. My full review below.
The release date for director Robert Rodriguez‘s Alita: Battle Angel has been pushed back for far too long. But now it looks like it has finally settled on a release date. Though the film was set for a December release, it’s new date does give us a chance to get a better idea of what the film is.
While most know it as an adaptation of the manga of the same name, Alita’s Pinocchio-esque story is expected to be action-packed and thrilling, as noted by the very exciting new trailer. The film follows a scientist (Christoph Waltz) who discovers and rebuilds a damaged cyborg named Alita (Rosa Salazar). However, what Alita doesn’t realize is that she is has untold secrets. The kind of secrets very powerful people like Vector (Mahershala Ali) is after. Check it out, below.

But there is one thing that connects them all, what makes them different makes them Spider-Man. Check out the latest trailer below.
Universal Pictures has released the first trailer for Green Book from comedy director Peter Farrelly. The film sees a blue-collar bouncer (Viggo Mortensen) hired to drive a pianist (Mahershala Ali) on a concert tour.
While the two are an unlikely pair, the road trip will help forge a friendship between them that will transcend race during that 1960s. Check out the full trailer below.
