Avengers: Age of Ultron Movie Review

James Spader has played a great deal of roles throughout his career from dramas to comedies to a mix of both. Some of The Blacklist actor’s most memorable roles have come in the past few years where he played Robert California as a possible replacement after Michael Scott on TV’s The Office. So while the show has been over for just a couple of years, what if his personality lived on in the form of Ultron, his title villain from the popular Marvel film, Avengers: Age of Ultron.

With a mash-up this humorous and obvious, it was only a matter of time before someone got the idea to combine the two, and now there is a video just for it. Check out the hilarious video here below.

Music Break: DJ Earworm’s ‘United State of Pop 2012 (Shine Brighter)’

2012 United State of Pop (Shine Brighter) cover

My favorite part of 2012’s year end has been delivered unto the internet. DJ Earworm‘s latest United State of Pop 2012 (Shine Brighter) is online. Are you ready to celebrate all that was pop in 2012?

The United State of Pop series are mash-ups of a year’s top pop songs assembled into a coherent groove by DJ Earworm. For the year of 2012, he’s used the 25 biggest hits in the U.S. as determined by Billboard’s weekly Hot 100 charts. Don’t worry. There’s not a hint of ‘Gangnam Style’ to be heard. At least, I couldn’t decipher that infectious beast from the rest of the catchy hooks.

These days I’m not a fan of a lot of the pop songs that saturate terrestrial radio. So it’s more than strange that I like an amalgam of the year’s popular sounds more than the individual product. Last year’s is the shortest mash-up when compared to all the previous years. I’m not sure what that means for the state of pop music in the U.S.

Have a listen/watch at United State of Pop 2012 (Shine Brighter) here below the cut.

Must See: The Charlie Brown ‘JAWS’ Mash–Up You’ve (Probably) Always Wanted

The Movie God   |  @   |

There’s nothing like a good mash–up, and today brings with it a special one to behold.

Artist and cartoonist Charles Forsman has taken one of the most simple and innocent bits of nostalgia in Charles Shultz‘s famed comic strip, Peanuts, with Charlie Brown, and fused it together with the relentless oceanic terror that is Steven Spielberg‘s classic, JAWS.

The mash–up was so popular that the limited amount of 11″ by 17″ prints that Forsman had available were gone in the blink of an eye, which is rather depressing for those of us who see the genius and want to own a piece. But never fear””Forsman is pondering a second print run if it gets enough attention, so let him know how badly you want it on the Twitter…or at least ask him to send me one!

You can see the full Peanuts/Jaws mash–up below now.
