‘The Happytime Murders’: Red Band Trailer For R-Rated Puppet Movie From The Jim Henson Co. Released

We’ve been hearing about it for about a decade, and now a trailer has finally been released for The Happytime Murders, an R-rated puppet movie from the The Jim Henson Company.

The movie follows a human (played Melissa McCarthy) and a puppet detective team who are trying to solve the mysterious murders of the former cast of a popular old puppet TV show.

‘Life Of The Party’ Trailer: Melissa McCarthy Gets Ready For One Wild Comeback

Melissa McCarthy is certainly not afraid to put herself out there. Especially when it comes to her comedies that her director husband Ben Falcone helms.

But in Life of the Party, we get to see something more grounded and refreshing, a newly divorced mother who makes a comeback by joining her daughter (Molly Gordon) in college. Warner Bros. has released the second trailer for the film, and you can check it out below.

Elisabeth Moss To Star In Comic Book Adaptation ‘The Kitchen’ Alongside Tiffany Haddish, Melissa McCarthy

The Handmaid’s Tale and Mad Men star Elisabeth Moss is set to star in The Kitchen, New Line’s upcoming adaptation of writer Ollie Masters and illustrator Ming Doyle‘s Vertigo comic book of the same name.

Moss joins a cast that already includes Tiffany Haddish and Melissa McCarthy. The trio will play mob wives in 1970s Hell’s Kitchen who end up taking over the business after an FBI raid puts many mobsters, including their husbands, behind bars.

Dan Aykroyd Blames Director Paul Feig For ‘Ghostbusters’ Costly Reboot

Last year, a new all-female reboot of Ghostbusters hit theaters. Though it grossed $229 million worldwide at the box office, that was off of a $144 million production budget. So adding the millions that was put into the marketing campaign, the film was barely a mild success. Thus, there will probably be no sequel. The film was fine, and with the way it ended, there was plenty of stories left to tell. But it all comes down to money, and if there isn’t any, then it isn’t worth it for the studio to take such a risk.

Now one of the Ghostbusters alum believes he knows why the reboot didn’t work. According to Dan Aykroyd, it was director Paul Feig. More on the story, below.

‘Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life’: Official Trailer Released By Netflix

Netflix has released their first official trailer for Gilmore Girls: A Year in The Life. The four-episode Netflix series is a follow-up to the original, which ended back in 2007, and will focus on the characters of the series during the four major seasons of the year: fall, winter, spring, and summer.

After being ousted in the final season, show creator Amy Sherman-Palladino returns to pen all four episodes with her co-writer and husband Daniel Palladino. Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Melissa McCarthy, Milo Ventimiglia, Jared Padalecki, Keiko Agena, Scott Patterson, Sean Gunn, and Liza Weil all return to reprise their respective characters of the citizens of Stars Hallow, all of whom are standing at a crossroads of their lives.
