One big question about Jordan Peele‘s spiritual sequel to the 1992 horror classic Candyman, was whether original star Tony Todd would return to once again play the iconic title role or if someone new would be cast.
Now it appears we have an answer. It’s being reported that Yahya Abdul-Mateen II has entered into negotiations to play the new Candyman in the movie.
Fast and Furious 9 seemed to be put on the back burner for quite some time. Bond 25 is expected to start production very soon. And everyone and their mother seems to be signing on to be a part of Dune. While these three films couldn’t be any more different, they have one thing in common. They all finally have release dates.
Fast and Furious 9 is shifting from its initial April 2020 date and driving towards May 2020, which is giving Bond 25 a reason to take Fast and Furious 9‘s previous April 2020 date. Meanwhile, Dune will be hitting theaters in November 2020. More on all of this below.
A couple of years back we found out that Veep director Chris Addison had signed on to direct a remake of the 1988 Michael Caine and Steve Martin movie Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, with Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson attached to star in the two lead roles.
At the time the movie was titled Nasty Women, but has since been changed to The Hustle. MGM has released an official trailer for the remake, and you can find it below along with a brief synopsis and a poster.
In Creed II Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan) finds himself staring across the ring at Viktor Drago (Florian Munteanu). The stakes are higher than they have ever been, and a fight has never been more personal. That’s because Viktor is of course the son of Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren), who fought Adonis’s father Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers) in Rocky IV before going on to face Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone).
MGM has released a new promo video for Creed II, which takes a closer look at the return of Ivan Drago. It offers a little more information on why this fight means so much to him.
You can find the video below along with some other recently released promos for the movie.
Warner Bros. and MGM have dropped the second trailer for Creed II. From director Steven Caple Jr. the film sees the return of Michael B. Jordan as Adonis Creed, the son of Apollo Creed, who has gone from a son trying to escape his father’s shadow to a champion fighter creating his own legacy.
However, the sequel will see his past catch up to him, as the son of Ivan Drago issues a challenge to Adonis. With his coach Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) and Bianca (Tessa Thompson) by his side, Adonis will have to find out what is worth fighting for. Check out the full trailer and a pair of new posters below.
