‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ Image Gives Best Look At Webslinger’s Newest Suit
  |  @   |

Normally, we would refrain from writing anything about on set images. Leaked photos are a dime a dozen, and a lot of the time they aren’t the best quality. However, whenever the actors post their own stuff, it gives us the green light.

Now, with production wrapping on Spider-Man: Far From Home, we are getting our first good look at Tom Holland as Peter Parker in his brand new Spider-Man suit. Check out the newest suit below.

  |  @   |

Tom Holland was always going to return for a Spider-Man sequel. Now with Spider-Man: Far From Home in production, we know that he won’t be alone. New reports say that Samuel L. Jackson and Cobie Smulders will be joining him in the Homecoming sequel. Both will be reprising their respective MCU roles (Nick Fury and Maria Hill) in Spider-Man’s latest adventure, which takes him across the Atlantic to face off against some new foes.

More on the story below. Oh, of course, minor spoilers will follow.

First Trailer For Disney’s Live-Action ‘Dumbo’ Remake Directed By Tim Burton Arrives
  |  @   |

Walt Disney Pictures has released the first trailer for Dumbo, the next remake of one of their animated classics on the way after the live-action Winnie the Pooh movie, Christopher Robin, is released later this summer. The movie is directed by Tim Burton and stars Colin Farrell, Danny DeVito, Michael Keaton, Eva Green, Nico Parker, and Finley Hobbins.

The first trailer is just a teaser trailer, but it does run over a minute and gives us a good peek at the movie. Basically it looks like Burton remade Dumbo in the same style as his Big Fish, which is easily one of my favorite Burton films.

Continue below to read a synopsis and watch the first trailer.

D23 Expo: ‘Dumbo’
  |  @   |

Production for Disney’s newest live-action film, Dumbo, is currently underway, and director Tim Burton is currently in England shooting the film. So while he had nothing to offer us in terms of footage, he did send everyone at D23 a kind video message saying that he is in the midst of shooting, and could not wait to show us the entire film. Of course, with a video message like that, you don’t expect to see him in just a stuffy room. Instead, he was on board the Casey Jr. engine. He also provided some very cool photos and concept art that gives us an idea of the world that he is creating.

The general consensus amongst critics and die-hard comic book movie fans alike is that no matter how great the MCU films get, the pinnacle of the genre was achieved back in the early 2000s with Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man (2002) and Spider-Man 2 (2004). Interestingly enough, two of the dirt worst superhero movies since then also featured the webslinger: Raimi’s awful Spider-Man 3 in 2007, and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in 2014, which killed the rebooted franchise before it could even make the planned Sinister Six film it spent 2 hours setting up. Marvel Studios and Sony were able to come to an agreement since that debacle, which led to the best Spidey on screen in 12 years with Tom Holland’s appearance in Captain America: Civil War last year. A year later, Sony & Marvel again united to bring us Spider-Man: Homecoming, and maybe because I’m writing this an hour after seeing it, without time to properly marinate”¦ but Homecoming is the best standalone Spider-Man movie since”¦ ever.
