“My name is Jim Kimmel” [dramatic pause] “and I teach.”
Jimmy Kimmel hosted a special late night edition of Jimmy Kimmel Live after the 87th Annual Academy Awards last night with this “seriously” guffaw-worthy bit called “The Kimmel School of Perfect Acting” about “the greatest acting school there ever was…or ever will be,” according to Benedict Cumberbatch. It included testimonials from Cumberbatch, Lupita Nyong’o, Mila Kunis, Harvey Weinstein, Jeff Bridges, Kristen Bell, Susan Sarandon, Jennifer Anniston, Gary Oldman, Sean Penn, Matt Damon (excuse me – Matt Damen), Emily Blunt, and more.
An IMAX TV spot has been released for Jupiter Ascending, the upcoming scifi epic from directors Lana Wachowski and Andy Wachowski (The Matrix trilogy and Cloud Atlas).
Check out the 30-second IMAX spot here below.
Jupiter Ascending, which stars Channing Tatum, Mila Kunis, Sean Bean, and Eddie Redmayne opens in standard, Real 3D, and IMAX 3D theaters on February 6, 2015.
Another big name actor has joined the cast of Ted 2. It’s being reported that Taken and The Grey star Liam Neeson has signed on to Seth MacFarlane‘s sequel, a follow-up to his 2012 live-action directorial debut.
Neeson joins Morgan Freeman, who was cast in the movie earlier this month, as well as fellow newcomer Amanda Seyfried and the first movie’s returning cast such as MacFarlane, Mark Wahlberg, and Mila Kunis.
The cast of Ted 2, the follow-up to Family Guy and American Dad! creator Seth MacFarlane‘s hit live-action directorial debut, has gained the services of a legend.
The Shawshank Redemption and Unforgiven star Morgan Freeman has joined the comedy, playing a civil rights lawyer who helps Ted, the loveable talking teddy bear with a bit of a potty mouth, when he gets into a little legal trouble.
