At the same time that a launch trailer was released for the latest game in the Mirror’s Edge video game series, titled Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, it was also revealed that a TV series based on the games is currently in the works.
The scripted division of Endemol Shine North America, Endemol Shine Studios, has acquired the rights to turn the game into a TV series. Endemol has previously been involved in both scripted and non-scripted shows such as The Biggest Loser, Ugly Betty, The Tudors, MasterChef, and the US version of The Office.
The long-awaited follow-up to the first-person freerunning game Mirror’s Edge, titled Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, is set to finally release on June 7th.
To celebrate the release, developer DICE and publisher Electronic Arts have released a launch trailer for the game titled “Why We Run” which covers some of the game’s story and shows some gameplay action.

DICE has made the decision to push back the released of their much-anticipated Mirror’s Edge sequel, titled Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst.
The first-person freerunning action-adventure game sequel was originally scheduled for release on February 23, 2016, but, as is often the case with video games, a little more time is needed to make sure the game is up to expectations—something most gamers will take any day of the week over a buggy game released earlier. Now the game is scheduled for release on May 24, 2016.
Another one of the games that was presented at Gamescom 2015 is the highly anticipated sequel to the hit 2008 first-person free running action game Mirror’s Edge.
The new trailer for Mirror’s Edge 2, which is officially titled Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst, runs just about five minutes in length and shares a good look at the shiny new next-gen gameplay fans can expect to enjoy when they play the game.
