‘Super Size Me’ Documentarian Morgan Spurlock To Direct One Direction Flick
  |  @   |

Morgan Spurlock, the man behind exposing the dangers of eating fast food for a month, attempting to find Osama Bin Laden, exploiting product placement, and finding the true meaning of the San Diego Comic-Con is taking his documentary making talents to the music industry and will focus on the hottest boy band for his latest project.

One Direction, the mega-popular U.K. boy band that has been conquering music charts, will be the musical talent that Spurlock will document. Given that the Justin Bieber: Never Say Never and Katy Perry: Part of Me documentaries were a surprising success, Sony Pictures wants to get in on some of the action while One Direction is still relevant. The studio has already scheduled the film for an August 30, 2013 release, and much like the recent documentaries of these mega pop stars, the film will be released in 3D.
