Directed by Sam Mendes (Skyfall), Spectre is the 24th film in the James Bond franchise, and the fourth to start Daniel Craig as Agent 007.
A cryptic message sends Bond to Mexico City during DÃa de Muertos in pursuit of Marco Sciarra (Alessandro Cremon), a criminal with ties to the sinister organization known as SPECTRE. After dispatching his target, Bond heads to Rome to attend the funeral, where he meets the dead man’s widow, Lucia (Monica Bellucci). Of course, because this is a Bond film, they have sex and she gives him all the information he needs to pursue SPECTRE.
There is a little over a month left before the release of the latest James Bond film Spectre, and there is still plenty of time to do some major promotions. Trailers and TV spots are easy to churn out, but one signature promotion that the Bond films have is the Bond theme.
After months of rumors and speculation, Grammy Award winner Sam Smith was chosen. Unlike most of the previous themes, this title song won’t match with the title of the film. In this case, the song is called “Writing’s On The Wall.” And now you can hear the song in its entirety here below.
There was a lot of speculation as to who would be singing the iconic title theme song for the next James Bond film Spectre. The title theme song has been a staple of the James Bond film franchise, with the exception of Dr. No which had two songs.
Since then famous artists from around the globe have sung the title tracks, and now Sony Pictures has announced that Grammy winning artist Sam Smith will be singing the next Bond theme titled “Writing’s On the Wall.” Check out the official announcement below.
