Sony’s TriStar Pictures will be help bring The Silver Chair, the next installment in The Chronicles of Narnia film franchise, to the big screen, along with The Mark Gordon Company, The C.S. Lewis Company, and Entertainment One (eOne).

It was revealed back in January that The Mark Gordon Company and The C.S. Lewis Company were jointly developing The Silver Chair, which will reboot the film franchise and bring on a entirely new creative team.

The $10 t-shirt deal of the day over at RIPT Apparel today mashes-up Doctor Who with The Chronicles Of Narnia in “Bigger on the Inside” by BliMation.

The shirt went on sale at RIPT today, Monday, April 8, 2013, at midnight CST, and will continue for 24 hours from then, and once it’s over, it will not be sold on the site anymore.

The t-shirt is available in men’s (through 3XL), women’s, and youth sizes for $10 each. Kids sizes are $10 (Girls, Toddlers, and Onesies); Hoodies for $38 (in Men/Unisex sizes). Shirt colors are either brown or gray (see images on product page). You can also get the design on coasters for $25; iphone (4/4s) cases for $18; and prints (18″x24″) for $20.

Whovians and Sci-Fi Geeks, don’t forget, December 25 is not only the day Santa jams his chubby butt down the chimney: it’s also the day when Doctor Who returns for the annual Christmas Special. This year’s episode is entitled The Doctor, The Widow, And The Wardrobe, a seasonal tale inspired by the Narnia series.

Matt Smith returns in his role as the Eleventh Doctor, and is joined by an excellent cast, including Claire Skinner and Bill Bailey, in a story written by showrunner Steven Moffat. A prequel for the episode has been released by the BBC, which you can see along with the trailer at the end of this post.

Artist Dan Meth has created The Fantasy World Map, which charts popular fantasy lands like Middle Earth and Narnia all in one spot.
