Disney’s Live-Action ‘Aladdin’ Cast Pose For The Start Of Production Photo
Today marks the start of production for Disney’s latest live-action flick, Aladdin. The film stars Mena Massoud as the title character who falls in love with the Sultan’s daughter, Princess Jasmine (Naomi Scott). As with nearly all the live-action adaptations that Disney has released so far, you can expect Aladdin to stay true to the spirit of the animated original while also adding in a few contemporary elements so that it can connect to a new audience.
One of those elements is Will Smith, who will play the iconic Genie, a magical being who grants Aladdin three wishes after he frees him from his lamp imprisonment. Now with production in full swing, Smith has released a brand new photo of himself, Massoud, Scott, and Marwan Kenzari who’s playing Jafar. Check out the image below.

Guy Ritchie’s ‘Aladdin’ Finds Its Jafar and Casts An ‘SNL’ Alum
Though it is still in the very early days of development, Guy Ritchie‘s adaptation of Walt Disney’s animated hit, Aladdin, is coming along very nicely. While at the D23 Expo, it was announced that Egypt-born, Canada-raised Mena Massoud, and Power Rangers star Naomi Scott, would play Aladdin and Princess Jasmine, respectively. Will Smith, who was previously reported to be in talks to voice Genie, would also be confirmed for the cast.
Now the cast grows by adding two new actors. Dutch-Tunisian actor Marwan Kenzari is in talks to play Jafar, the scheming advisor to the Sultan, and SNL‘s Nasim Pedrad will join the cast as a new character created for the film. More on the story below.

So it has come to this. The two part season finale of Scream Queens. The Chanels of Kappa spent last week’s episode trying to kill their number one murder suspect, Dean Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis). But she apparently has a knack for survival, even attempted poisoning and freezing. Here’s what we know: 20 years ago a Kappa girl gave birth to twins in a bathtub during a frat party. She bled out, leaving the twins with crazy Gigi (Nasim Pedrad) who raised them to be vengeance seeking killers wearing school mascot Red Devil outfits as their cover. The twins half-sister, Grace (Skyler Samuels) and Dad, Wes (Oliver Hudson) are trying to cope with Gigi’s beheading as well as plenty of other deaths. Grace’s boyfriend Pete (Diego Boneta) is hiding something”¦ other than just a Red Devil costume in his closet. We know one of the Devils was Boone (Nick Jonas) and Gigi was the organizer of the kill spree. With both dead, we are left with one psychopathic Red Devil, presumably a female. Chanel (Emma Roberts)? Chanel #3 or #5 (Billie Lourd or Abigail Breslin)? Maybe someone supposedly dead like Chanel #2 (Ariana Grande). Best thing I can say about Scream Queens; other than that it’s hilarious and off-the-wall crazy, with cool kills and ridiculously quotable dialogue, is that I have NO clue who will be revealed as the killer!
Spoilers below.

Beware of spoilers!
It’s the most glorious non Chanel-oween holiday of the year – Black Friday! Sure, Scream Queens’ Thanksgiving was ruined when the turkey ended up being Gigi’s (Nasim Pedrad) severed head. But hey, that can’t keep a good Chanel down. Chanel (Emma Roberts), rich beyond her wildest dreams, uses Black Friday to tease the “manatee” and buy really cheap gifts for her friends. Even Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis) tries to stop them, but alas, the Chanels are determined to get their doorbusters. Wes (Oliver Hudson), Grace (Skyler Samuels) and Pete (Diego Boneta) head to the police station, but find everyone on the “retail beat.” Wes is broken up about his girlfriend; “My girlfriend was murdered. The killer cut her head off, and tried to serve it to us for Thanksgiving.”
