Back in March we saw a teaser trailer for the latest feature from Noah Hawley, titled Lucy in the Sky, which stars Natalie Portman as an astronaut who has an experience while on a mission which causes her to struggle with everyday life when she returns home. Starring alongside Portman is Jon Hamm, Zazie Beetz, Dan Stevens, Colman Domingo, Ellen Burstyn, Nick Offerman, Tig Notaro, Pearl Amanda Dickson, and Jeffrey Donovan.

Marvel Studios’ What If…?, which was announced back in March, is a brand new upcoming TV series that will be streamed exclusively on Disney+. The series will expand the Marvel Cinematic Universe in all sorts of new ways by posing the question of “what if?” This really isn’t anything new considering that Marvel Comics has an entire comic line dedicated to hypothetical and alternative stories, like “what if Thanos had joined the Avengers?” or “what if Captain America joined hydra?”

And now we have an idea of who will be involved. While at San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige shared some news about the show, which includes announcing that Jeffery Wright will be voicing The Watcher, and various actors and actresses who have appeared in Marvel films who will be reprising their respective roles. Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness won’t be the only film to see a hero from The Infinity Saga making a return. Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson will also be back for Thor: Love and Thunder. Yes, that will be a title, which Marvel announced today at San Diego Comic-Con. Taika Waititi, who was just confirmed to return to write and direct, will bring some major changes to the fourth Thor film. One of which will see Natalie Portman return to reprise her role as Jane Foster, and accept the hammer.

In the movie Portman plays an astronaut who is struggling with life here on Earth after returning from a mission to space. Also starring in the movie is Jon Hamm (Mad Men, Baby Driver), Dan Stevens (Beauty and the Beast, Downton Abbey), Zazie Beetz (Deadpool 2, Atlanta), Pearl Amanda Dickson (Legion, Criminal Minds), Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation, Me and Earl and the Dying Girl), Tig Notaro (Instant Family, Transparent), Colman Domingo (Selma, Lincoln), and Oscar winner Ellen Burstyn (The Exorcist, Requiem for a Dream).

Neon has released a new trailer for Vox Lux starring Natalie Portman as a pop star whose career took off after a tragedy, and who is now attempting a comeback after a scandal almost ruined her.

The movie is directed by Brady Corbet, an actor who has starred in 24, Funny Games, Martha Marcy May Marlene, Melancholia, and Force Majeure, and who made his directorial debut with 2015’s The Childhood of a Leader. It also stars Raffey Cassidy (Tomorrowland, The Killing of a Sacred Deer), Jude Law (Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, The Grand Budapest Hotel), Stacy Martin (Nymphomaniac, All the Money in the World), and Jennifer Ehle (The King’s Speech, Zero Dark Thirty). Sia wrote original songs for the film.
