In 1999, beautifully wicked, manipulator Kathryn Merteuil (Sarah Michelle Gellar) and her playboy (and sometimes boy toy) stepbrother Sebastian Valmont (Ryan Phillipe) played with the lives of the people around them. When Sebastian actually fell for one of their targets, the sweet Annette Hargrove (Reese Witherspoon), tragedy struck and Sebastian was killed. Kathryn was exposed for the evil bitch she was. Now, the continuation will be a series, and NBC and Gellar have confirmed the casting.
