‘The Twilight Saga’ Star Taylor Lautner May Also Star In A ‘Vision Quest’ Remake
  |  @   |

Not too long ago it was reported that Taylor Lautner, star of Twilight and The Twilight Saga: New Moon, had been cast as the lead in Paramount’s planned teen action flick Max Steel (Read: Resident “˜Twilight’ Wolf Pup Taylor Lautner To Become “˜Max Steel’). It appears now that the 17-year-old actor didn’t stop there: E! Online is reporting that Lautner is now also in some talks to take on the lead in a remake of 1985’s Vision Quest.

The original Vision Quest told the story of a mediocre high school wrestler (played by Matthew Modine) who decides that he needs to do something that people will remember, which turns out to be beating the undefeated best wrestler in the entire state. The goal is a seemingly impossible one, and is even hard due to his need to drop down two weight classes to pull it off. Things also get a little complicated on this quest of his, when his parents take in a much more mature 21-year-old drifter (Linda Fiorentino), who he falls in love with.

The Big Question: To Split ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’ In Half Or Not?
  |  @   |

As we’ve all known was a very likely possibility, it is being reported that Summit Entertainment is deciding whether or not to split The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — the final movie in the franchise (supposedly) — into two movies.

When Twilight was first peeking its head out, many said that it was going to be the next Harry Potter franchise, and to this many giggles (myself included) were had. And while the movie have been no where even close to as good as the Harry Potter films thus far, with The Twilight Saga: New Moon approaching $500 Million worldwide, you just can’t deny that it’s throwing down the same numbers.

With Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, they decided to split it in two in order to cover a lot more of the story, and of course, to make a whole new un-godly amount of money that they would never have made if they only did one film. This is also being done with The Hobbit. Naturally, it has always been a question as to whether Twilight would take the same path once they reached their final film. Now that they have established themselves as a heavy hitter, it comes as no shock that Summit Entertainment has this choice to make.

Have Fun Studying With ‘Twilight’ Test Prep Follow-Up ‘Defining New Moon’
  |  @   |

All the haters can say what they will about the Twilight franchise, but there’s one positive aspect about the whole phenomenon that can’t be denied — it’s prompted teenage girls to read more.

Young girls (and their moms) are not only picking up the Twilight books, but also literary classics like Wuthering Heights, and the series has sparked interest in the horror/fantasy genre in general, serving as a gateway to more books like Charlaine Harris’s Southern Vampire series (from which HBO’s True Blood is based) and more.

Twilight‘s also become helpful in the test prep department with Defining Twilight, a vocabulary workbook to help students prepare for tests like the SAT, ACT, GED, and SSAT.

Now, just released this week is the New Moon-inspired follow-up Defining New Moon, with over 700 vocabulary words and synonyms found on the SAT, ACT, GED, and SSAT tests.

‘Twilight: New Moon’ Volturi Clip & TV Spot
  |  @   |

By CrueChik

Happy New Moon Monday my little Twihards! Usually, Mondays suck hard, but this one, ah, this one does no sucking, unless of course you like that sort of thing. But as usual, I digress”¦I’ve got TWO delectable Twilight: New Moon videos to share with you this fine day. WOOOOOfreakingHOOOOOO!!!!

The first is a new TV spot, called “Save Her,” with drool worthy clips of everyone’s favorite wolfie, Jake – ah yes, beautiful, shirtless Jake – phasing, jumping and telling Bella he’s got a vampire to kill, as well as my Edward (yes, my Edward, deal with it Bella) heading to the Volturi for a little conference and a whole lot more eye candy”¦see for yourself here below.

And speaking of the nasty, but ever so wickedly delightful, Volturi, my second video find of the day gives us a look at humans are food, not friends vamp, Aro, trying to decide what to do with Bellsy. Naturally, the plan doesn’t include any pleasantries”¦and Edward swiftly comes to the rescue (at about 26 seconds into the video, I know this, “˜cause I keep pausing it there and watching it in slow motion) only to be”¦well”¦go watch it, it’s much better than anything I can tell you.
