Timed to the upcoming second season premiere of The Walking Dead Anchor Bay Entertainment is releasing a special edition DVD set of the show’s problematic but ultimately stellar first season on Blu-ray and DVD with even more extra features than their previous release of the first season. Titled “Digital Decay,” the 90-second clip takes brief look at the CGI effects created for the series, notably the additional zombies. There’s nothing revelatory in this video but it does give you a feel for the ways that digital effects are used to create a worthwhile end result.
