For anyone who’s not already aware, a new movie in The Grudge franchise is on the way. The movies are based on the Japanese Ju-On series, and began with the 2004 title of the same name starring Sarah Michelle Gellar.
This latest entry is produced by Sam Raimi and written and directed by Nicolas Pesce, and stars Andrea Riseborough, Demián Bichir, John Cho, Betty Gilpin, Lin Shaye, and Jacki Weaver. The movie is directly connected to both Ju-On and the 2004 American remake, but unlike the American remake, it will have an R rating instead of a PG-13 rating.

Writer and director Nicolas Pesce‘s debut feature, The Eyes of My Mother, arrived on Blu-ray and DVD today.
This is a movie that I’ve been anxious to see since first watching the unsettling trailers last year. If a trailer alone can be that disturbing, what would the full movie do to me? An exciting thing to ponder for a horror fan.
A new trailer has been released for The Eyes of My Mother, an upcoming black and white horror from writer and director Nicolas Pesce.
The new trailer is disturbing enough, so I can only imagine how deep and dark the movie itself might get. It’s also more of a teaser trailer, showing peeks at a couple of scenes from the movie mixed with some accolades. The first trailer, which was released in September, was much more of an actual trailer.
You can find both of these trailers below, in case you missed the first one.
