‘Captain Marvel’: More On Starforce and Jude Law’s Mysterious Nameless Character
  |  @   |

Marvel Studios recently released their first look at Captain Marvel starring Brie Larson as the title character. In it, we learned that the film won’t be a traditional origin film, but rather the character would already have powers. Additionally, it was confirmed that Carol Danvers would be half-human and half Kree. In fact, she flees Earth to join the intergalactic Starforce. This is a protective force led by the yet to be named character played by Jude Law.

Now we are learning more about Law’s character, although not his name, which may hint at the role he has to play. Plus, there’s a little more about that Starforce group. Check it all out below.

First ‘Captain Marvel’ Images Reveal Title Character, Skrulls, Nick Fury, and Ronan
  |  @   |

In Captain Marvel Academy Award winner Brie Larson plays Carol Danvers. She leaves Earth to join an intergalactic force known as Starforce, but when she returns, she questions her past. Upon her return, she finds out that she must fight the shape-shifting Skrulls, led by their leader Talos (Ben Mendelsohn), whose goal is to invade Earth.

In addition to releasing the first look at Larson as Captain Marvel, EW also released a handful of new images which reveal our first look at Starforce, Jude Law, a two-eyed Nick Fury (don’t know if I will get used to that), and the Skrulls. Check out the photos below.

‘Captain Marvel’ Starts Principal Photography; Agent Coulson, Ronan The Accuser, and More To Appear
  |  @   |

Marvel Studios’ Captain Marvel will be a period piece that takes us back to the 1990s. In it, we will see Academy Award winner Brie Larson play as Carol Danvers, an Air Force pilot who is endowed with cosmic alien powers and gets caught up in an intergalactic war between two alien races. But it’s not so much about the film’s plot or setting as it is who we will be seeing again. Seeing again as in, characters who we thought wouldn’t appear on screen ever again, are returning to the MCU once more. Just in a different timeline.

We know that Nick Fury is in this, so it only makes sense that Clark Gregg would return to reprise his role as Agent Phil Coulson. And because the film is about the war between the Kree and the Skrull, Lee Pace will be reprising his role as Ronan. More on this and a brand new photo, below.
