‘Y: The Last Man’ TV Series Finds A Showrunner In ‘Logan,’ ‘Blade Runner 2’ Writer
  |  @   |

A little over a year ago it was reported that the long in development movie based on Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra‘s comic book series Y: The Last Man was no more, and that it was instead being developed as a TV series for FX.

The adaptation is still in development today, but has now taken a big step toward becoming a reality. It’s being reported that Michael Green has signed on to be the series’ showrunner. Fuller also took on a second showrunner job, the upcoming Star Trek: Discovery TV series, but departed that project last month.

A movie adaptation of writer Brian K. Vaughan and artist Pia Guerra‘s extraordinary comic book series Y: The Last Man has been in the works for many years now, but it never felt right. The series ran 60 issues, and there was far too much great content to fit into a movie. Even a trilogy of movies would have been difficult. If you were among those who wished with crossed fingers that Y: The Last Man would not work out as a movie and would one day end up being turned into a TV series, it appears that your wishes are coming true. It’s being reported that the comic is now being developed as a series at FX.
