Watch: Trailer For ‘The Pillars Of The Earth’ Video Game

A release trailer is here for The Pillars of the Earth, a new video game adaptation of the Ken Follett historical novel of the same name.

The game—which is actually an interactive novel—features a beautiful animated look, and will be released in three separate parts, or “books.” Each of these three parts will consist of seven chapters.

Reelz Acquires ‘Pillars Of The Earth’ Sequel ‘World Without End’

It’s been announced that ReelzChannel has acquired the U.S. rights to World Without End, the eight-part sequel to the 2010 Starz miniseries, Pillars of the Earth.

Both miniseries are based on the books of author Ken Follett. Pillars centered around the construction of a massive church, and took place over the course of many years. World Without End takes place over 150 years after Pillars in the same fictional town of Kingsbridge (where some of the ancestors of the first story’s characters still reside) right at the start of some major historical events such as the Black Death plague and the Hundred Years’ War.
