Last month we saw a teaser trailer for The Predator. Now 20th Century Fox has released an official trailer for the movie.
Directed by Shane Black, who starred in the original Predator alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger back in 1987, this latest entry is described as a re-invention of the series and sees the deadly alien hunters arriving in a small suburban town.
You can read a synopsis for The Predator and check out the official trailer as well as a new poster below.
20th Century Fox has released the first trailer for The Predator, the latest in the sci-fi action series which began with 1987’s Predator starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Someone else who starred in the ’87 original is Shane Black, who’s behind the camera as director this time around. After starring in the original—his first real acting job following an uncredited appearance as a cop in Night of the Creeps the year before—Black eventually went on to direct titles like Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Iron Man 3, and most recently The Nice Guys before coming full circle back to the Predator franchise.
Some of the cast members also teased the release of the trailer with shots of their characters from the movie. You can find those, along with more info on the movie and the teaser trailer below.
Following the announcement earlier this week that Game of Thrones star Alfie Allenhas joined the cast of the next Predator movie, titled The Predator, comes word that Yvonne Strahovski is also joining the cast.
Strahovski played Sarah Walker in 91 episodes of the comedy series Chuck, and has also starred in Dexter, 24: Live Another Day, and The Handmaiden’s Tale. If you’re like me, however, you best know her as Miranda Lawson from the Mass Effect games.
It’s hard to imagine anyone liking a character played by Alfie Allen. As Theon Greyjoy on Game of Thrones he seized Winterfell, and as Iosef Tarasov he killed John Wick’s dog.
Course, just because he plays unlikable characters doesn’t mean that it is an ongoing thing. So who knows what he’ll be playing as he has been cast in The Predator. Find out more about the character and plot of the film in the report below.
Today marks the start of production for The Predator, the fourth installment of the Predator film franchise. Director Shane Black, who also starred in the first Predator, marked the occasion by releasing an image on his Twitter account, and confirmed that his film will be rated R. More on the story below.
