Robert Downey Jr. Announces Stellar All-Star Cast For New ‘Doctor Dolittle’ Film

Robert Downey Jr. is no stranger to starring in ensemble films. He’s done it for the better part of ten years with Marvel Studios. But his tenure with the superhero studio is coming to an end, and now that he will not have to put the Iron Man suit on anymore, he can look forward to working on other projects like The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle.

The actor has just revealed his co-stars for the film and the animals they will be voicing. There is a wide range of talent from Kumail Nanjiani (The Big Sick), Octavia Spencer (The Shape of Water), John Cena (Ferdinand), Tom Holland (Spider-Man: Homecoming), Ralph Fiennes (In Bruges), Emma Thompson (Beauty and the Beast), Marion Cotillard (The Dark Knight Rises), and so much more have joined the cast. Dexter Fletcher Replaces Bryan Singer As Director Of ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’

In the last few days, Bohemian Rhapsody, the Freddie Mercury biopic, has been looking for a new director since Fox fired Bryan Singer (X-Men: Apocalypse) after reports of constant absences and on-set clashes with the cast started to surface. Singer claims that he was absent to address a family matter. However, the studio promised that they would find a director to finish the job, which had two weeks of production left on the schedule.

Now it appears that they have found him. Reports confirm that Eddie The Eagle director Dexter Fletcher will be Singer’s replacement. More on the story below.

Bryan Singer Fired From Directing Freddie Mercury Biopic ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’

Bohemian Rhapsody, the Freddie Mercury biopic starring Rami Malek as the Queen frontman, has just suffered a major production setback. Bryan Singer (X-Men: Apocalypse) has just been fired from directing the film, which has been in production for the past few months. According to new reports, a hostile work environment, combined with Singer’s constant absence on set and clashes with the cast, may have been the contributing factors to the director’s firing. Geek Peek: First Look At ‘Mr. Robot’ Star Rami Malek As Freddie Mercury For ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’

Once upon a time there was a biopic about Queen frontman Freddie Mercury in the works starring Sacha Baron Cohen in the lead role, but that didn’t work out in the end.

For those wondering if that movie is still happening, it certainly is! Mr. Robot star Rami Malek is now playing Mercury in the movie, which is titled Bohemian Rhapsody. The first image of Malek in full costume was released yesterday, on what would have been Mercury’s 71st birthday, and you can check it out below.

After last week’s penultimate episode of Season 2 of Mr. Robot, that song was all I could think in relation to creator Sam Esmail‘s cyber drama. I feel just like Elliot (newly crowned Emmy winner for Best Actor, Rami Malek). I don’t know what to believe, I don’t know what is real anymore. Last week was a surreal nightmare. After spending the majority of the season thinking Tyrell Wellick (Martin Wallstrom) was dead from a gunshot wound he delivered personally, Wellick joins Elliot for a bizarre cab ride, leaving us desperately searching for clues as to who and what is real. Is Tyrell another manifestation of Elliot’s subconscious like the Mr. Robot himself (Christian Slater)? In the Season 2 finale, Episode 2.12 “eps2.9pyth0n-pt2.p7z,” all of fsociety’s paranoia, as well as the craziness caused by the 5/9 hack come home to roost.
