SDCC 2018: Entire ‘Iron Fist’ Season 2 Trailer Looks Like An Improvement Over Season 1
  |  @   |

That headline is no joke. Season 1 of Netflix and Marvel’s Iron Fist was a huge disappointment, to say the least. However, we knew that Finn Jones would be playing the character in the long run. And The Defenders making the story about him did not help the character’s cause. But don’t expect that awful streak to continue.

Netflix and Marvel revealed their first trailer for Iron Fist season 2 over at San Diego Comic-Con last night, and just watching it, that one trailer looks like an improvement over the first season. The fighting looks sharper, as opposed to very choppy. Check out how Danny Rand will protect the city and when Netflix will release season 2, below.

Last week on Heroes Reborn, we went back to that fateful day, the entire series is based upon, June 13th, 2014, via Hiro Nakamura (Masi Oko) transport. Hiro brings Noah (Jack Coleman) to find out what happened to Claire. And he does. She died in childbirth, birthing twins. Hiro went to try to stop the bomb strapped to the Harris (Clé Bennett) clones. He popped back and forth through time trying to find a scenario that was not horrible if the bomb did not go off, and he couldn’t. So he had to let the bombs detonate. Angela Petrelli (Cristine Rose) was at the hospital and told Noah and Hiro of the babies role in saving mankind. Hiro took her and the babies to 1999, so they’d be ready to save the day in 2015. June 13th, 2014 also caught the Collins family, hopeful and happy. So sad.

ABC Orders Pilot For DC Comics ‘Fables’
  |  @   |

The popular comic book series Fables from DC Comics and writer Bill Willingham is now looking to find a new home at ABC, who has ordered up a pilot episode to test the waters with.

The pilot will be written by Stu Zicherman and Raven Metzner, who wrote Elektra and episodes of Six Degrees. TV mega-director David Semel will do the directing. His resume is riddled with well-known products such as Buffy, Angel, Heroes, House, 90210 (old), Dawson’s Creek, and 7th Heaven among many others. The man seems to have a tag for directing pilot episodes and as you can see, whether it’s the realm of sci-fi/fantasy or teeny dramas, he’s captained some really popular shows.

For those who aren’t familiar with the comic, Fables takes pretty much every single cherished fairy tale character ever concocted and puts them in our world. They live and work among us, residing in a special section of the city (unless they’re a creature or talking animal, in which case they have to live at “The Farm”). The two main characters used in the comics are Big Bad Wolf and Snow White, and it seems that this will be the formula used for the TV show as well.
