There could be a variety of reasons as to why a film is rescheduled. Sometimes it’s needed to fix the film or to better position themselves for a better production at the box office. But whatever the reason may be, it happens. But recently, any film that shares the same release date as Star Wars or is scheduled close to its release date find themselves being rescheduled.
Now that Star Wars: Episode VIII has been pushed back to a December 15, 2017 release, many were wondering if films scheduled near that date would be rescheduled. For reasons unknown, Fox has already confirmed that Avatar 2 will be moving to a new date that has yet to be announced. Now Steven Spielberg‘s Ready Player One is also making a move to a new date. According to a new report, the film is being pushed back all the way to 2018. Not only that, but WB has also announced that The Flash is getting a new release date as well. More on the story below.
