With a jetpack fueled by insomnia and an easily amused mind, It Came From The Interwebs scours and sifts through everything that has ever appeared on the internet (more or less) to find a few things that you should know about every week. These things come from the interwebs, hence the clever name.
This week, we return from a few days of getting lost in Tom Hiddleston’s eyes to bring you the vampire unicorn cyborg of web junk columns, featuring: the hip hop stylings of Jon Hamm, the meteorological rise of a prince, the gravitational fall of dominoes, and an Icelandic invasion.
While Torchwood: Miracle Day gives Whovians a breath of fresh air during the break from Doctor Who Series 6, BBC America is already gearing up for the return of Matt Smith‘s Eleventh Doctor with several Doctor Whotelevision shows to air during August.
It was announced during San Diego Comic-Con last month that the second half of Series 6 will resume on Saturday, August 27, 2011. In the lead-up to the return of this season, BBC America has scheduled three specials. The network has also released a short sneak peak teaser of the specials, in which guests discuss their favorite aspects of the long-running series. You can view a list of the specials with date and times, along with the preview video here below.

Between Dave3 and I, we’ve probably watched the video at least 60 times. By the end of the night that number could easily double. The truth is, I can’t really explain what’s going on in the video because I don’t want to ruin the experience. I would call it the next viral version of I’m On A Boat if it wasn’t so much better.
Check it out (after the jump) and let us know what you think…
