“Oh, what a day! What a lovely day!”

Mad Max: Fury Road is nothing short of a goddamn masterpiece. This is an epic of grease, gunpowder, and gasoline – a feminist, post-apocalyptic Western on wheels, all shiny and chrome. This is action cinema in its purest, most exhilarating form.

Co-written and directed by George Miller, Fury Road finds The Road Warrior himself, Max Rockatansky (Tom Hardy), pursued by Warboys, a bloodthirsty clan of marauders under the command of the tyrannical Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne). The leather-clad maniacs capture Max and haul him off to the Citadel, a massive stronghold where the warlord rules over the poor, sickly wretches of the wasteland.

Within the Citadel, Max becomes a blood bag for Nux (Nicholas Hoult), a wounded Warboy. Max hangs upside down, his blood draining into Nux, who wants nothing more than to die a glorious soldier’s death and be ushered into shiny, chrome-colored Valhalla.

‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ Legacy Trailer Looks Back At The Series
  |  @   |

A brand new trailer for the upcoming post-apocalyptic epic Mad Max: Fury Road has been released by Warner Brothers. This latest preview of the fourth movie in the series by director George Miller, which also includes Mad Max, Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior, and Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, all starring Mel Gibson, is dubbed a “Legacy Trailer” and looks back at the past movies from 36, 33, and 30 years ago.

We’ve seen plenty of trailers for the movie that have overwhelmed us with excitement, but to see these clips of the decades-old movies before getting another peek at Fury Road only adds another layer of excitement as the blues and blacks and other colors popping amongst the predominantly dusty brownish-orange hue of the newest installment really get those sensory receptors firing off nicely.

‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ Trailer: It’s Hard To Know Who’s More Crazy
  |  @   |

After two stunning trailers for George Miller‘s Mad Max: Fury Road, Warner Bros. has released the third and final one in anticipation for the film’s May release. There is a bunch of new footage, which reveals more plot points than the previous two trailers combined. We also get to see a little bit more of the villain of the film, Immortan Joe (played by Hugh Keays-Byrne).

There is just so much action going on, reading a description wouldn’t do the trailer any justice. Besides, watching it on a computer screen doesn’t do it any justice either, and judging by what we see in the trailer, Mad Max: Fury Road deserves to be seen on the big screen. Hit the jump to check it out.

‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ Trailer: The World Goes Mad and Cars Blow Up Good
  |

Today, Warner Bros. has released the first official trailer for next summer’s highly-anticipated Mad Max: Fury Road, and just in time for Christmas too. Ah Warners, but I didn’t get you anything.

Watch the new trailer here below.

Over the Summer, the George Miller-directed sequel stormed San Diego Comic-Con and unleashed the first footage and posters. The results nearly shattered the Internet that wonderful July day. The studio later released an edited version of the Comic-Con sizzle reel that has been viewed over twelve million times on YouTube. I was responsible for perhaps a quarter of that amount.
