Like a lot of Walt Disney animated films, The Lion King has stood the test of time in its own way. The celebrated piece is a powerful film that has beautiful animation, resonating themes, catchy songs, and plenty of charm to boot. It’s no wonder that it is among our favorite films. Now, The Lion King gets, yet another, re-release in “The Circle Of Life” edition as part of the Walt Disney Signature Collection. Like many of these re-releases, this one is chock full of bonus extras that will have fans fall in love once more and introduce this lovely film to a new generation who may have never seen it before. Check out our review here below.
Despite weekend reports to the contrary, Blackadder and Mr. Bean actor Rowan Atkinson did NOT die in a car crash on March 18th. He was the victim of a fake news story that was liked and shared more than 300,000 times on social media.
Much of the massive cast of the 2003 holiday favorite romantic comedy Love Actually are about to reunite for a sequel to show fans of the movie what the characters are up to 14 years later in the year 2017.
The sequel won’t be a full movie, however, but a short created for the charity event Red Nose Day. It will even be called Red Nose Day Actually. Stars of the original expected to appear include Hugh Grant, Keira Knightley, Colin Firth, Liam Neeson, Bill Nighy, Andrew Lincoln, Martine McCutcheon, Rowan Atkinson, Lucia Moniz,Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Olivia Olson, and Marcus Brigstocke.

You can’t really review The Lion King. It’s one of the crown jewels of Disney’s line of timeless hand–drawn animated classics, and my own personal favorite of the bunch.
It’s jam–packed with a great cast of voice actors, gorgeous and vibrant environments, settings, and colors, and some of the most unforgettable songs any movie has ever had. Not to mention the wonderful story of a young lion cub who’s tricked into leaving the lands he was to one day become king of after an incident involving his stoic father–king and his deviously evil uncle.
