  |  @   |

This week, a global Internet apocalypse is upon us!… or is it? Twitter turns seven, Blizzard‘s next Warcraft is not an RPG but a card game, streaming video heats up, the iPhone’s on T-Mobile, Scientists plan a real Jurassic Park, and a dongle joke that spiraled way out of control.

Introducing The ‘South Park’ RPG From ‘Fallout: New Vegas’ Developer Obsidian Entertainment
  |  @   |

For those of you who have yet to hear, a brand new South Park video game is currently being developed titled South Park: The Game.

‘Mass Effect’-Style ‘Game Of Thrones’ RPG Video Game On The Way

As you may have heard, a video game company called Cyanide Studio has been working on a real–time strategy game based on Martin’s mythology titled Game of Thrones: Genesis. What you may not have heard, however, is that the studio is also working on a Game of Thrones role–playing game along the same lines as Mass Effect and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic for the PC and next–generation consoles…and that, my dear friends, is something to be very excited about.

  |  @   |

College Humor is at it again, this time creating a trailer of sorts for a faux video game adaptation of HBO’s Game of Thrones, not coming to a Super Nintendo console near you any time soon.

The video shows off what Game of Thrones would look like if it was given the 16–bit Final Fantasy RPG treatment, with hilarious results. I don’t know about you, but I laughed like that wacky Mogwai from Gremlins 2 while watching it.

You an see the video by heading below now, but be warned: if you haven’t read the books or seen season 1 of Game of Thrones, this video will A) not be funny and B) include some major spoilers.
