Netflix has released their first official trailer for Gilmore Girls: A Year in The Life. The four-episode Netflix series is a follow-up to the original, which ended back in 2007, and will focus on the characters of the series during the four major seasons of the year: fall, winter, spring, and summer.

After being ousted in the final season, show creator Amy Sherman-Palladino returns to pen all four episodes with her co-writer and husband Daniel Palladino. Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Melissa McCarthy, Milo Ventimiglia, Jared Padalecki, Keiko Agena, Scott Patterson, Sean Gunn, and Liza Weil all return to reprise their respective characters of the citizens of Stars Hallow, all of whom are standing at a crossroads of their lives. Check out the latest trailer below.

I’d hate to admit it but these films are at their best slasher flicks with a brain and a deranged imagination. The tagline for Saw II was “Oh yes, there will be blood” and as Saw V clearly proves, brother you don’t know the half of it.
