‘Sesame Street’ Spoofs ‘Game Of Thrones’ In ‘Game Of Chairs’ (Video)

Everyone’s favorite childhood puppet show, Sesame Street, is no stranger to parodying popular TV shows and movies. In the past we’ve seen them take on Star Wars with Star S’Mores, Best Picture Oscar winner Birdman in Big Birdman, and hit Netflix original series House of Cards with House of Bricks. Now, with season five set to begin this upcoming Sunday, Sesame Street is spoofing HBO’s original drama juggernaut Game of Thrones in Game of Chairs.

The video features puppet versions of some of your favorite characters competing to sit on the throne…in a friendly game of musical chairs, of course. In addition to the familiar characters, there’s also plenty of subtle nods to the show no kids who watch Sesame Street will understand (“Can we hurry this up? I have a wedding to get to.”).

You can watch Game of Chairs below.

Capitalizing on the popularity of Netflix hit show House of Cards (returning for a third season next week), here the story is about Frank Underwolf, yep, the big bad wolf with Kevin Spacey’s patented southern drawl, as he looks to take down three political pigs in Washington, DC.
