It is the time of year where season finales are wowing us, and series finales are making us cry. It is the time where we start thinking that all good television has already left us, like Bates Motel and The Vampire Diaries and Grimm and Outsiders (and many many more). We have to browse through the brand new shows and the revivals for the next future classic to tear at our hearts or make us laugh. One show I will definitely be checking out is The Good Doctor, headed to ABC, starring genius Freddie Highmore.
Raunchy summer comedies are becoming more commonplace to give some balance to a season normally chock full of action tentpoles. And with more studios trying to use the same formula that gave way to the success of the Jump Street franchise, you can be sure to see a lot more raunchy takes on TV classics. So Paramount hopes that you’ll come to theaters to watch Baywatch, starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, and Priyanka Chopra.
While previous trailers have skimmed the surface of this R-rated flick, this new red band trailer will make sure you know that this is an R-rated action comedy. It’s definitely NSFW, so it’s probably best to put on some headphones or wait until the coast is clear. Check out the trailer below.
Paramount Pictures has released the second trailer for Baywatch, from Horrible Bosses director Seth Gordon. The film is based on the hit 90s show that centered on a group of lifeguards who saved lives on the titular beach. Of course, the show was probably best known for their slow-motion runs than anything else. But still, with the success of the Jump Street film franchise, studios are looking at what shows they can revitalize and turn into films.

Paramount Pictures has released online the Super Bowl TV spot for Baywatch, their upcoming big-screen adaptation of the popular 80s TV show, starring Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron.
The fact that Seth Gordon is behind the lens for Baywatch pretty much tells us that the film reboot will go for a more comedic slant than its cheesy drama TV counterpart. And the first trailer for the film pretty much proves that.
Paramount has released the first trailer for Baywatch, starring Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Priyanka Chopra, Jon Bass, Rob Huebel, and Hannibal Buress. Clearly, the reboot wants to be something else or at least mimic what made the 21 Jump Street films so successful. Find out if it meets your expectations by watching the trailer below.
