Last week on Dominion, we got a way way back flashback of Sodom and Gomorrah. Seems that Michael (Tom Wisdom) and Lyrae go and destroy everything, but Michael comes back furious with Lyrae. He kills his vessel. In the present it seems Julian (Simon Merrells)is not this miracle human at all, but somethig else. This does not bode well for anyone. I do hope this means that Gabriel (Carl Beukes) and Michael will team up to get rid of Julian. I kinda like Gabriel, even though he wants to skin my Alex (Christopher Egan). Speaking of… he was super busy evading 8-Balls, rescuing General Riesen (Alan Dale), curing another 8-Ball, and kissing Noma (Kim Engelbrecht). Don’t worry about Claire (Roxanne McKee) though. She’s making goo-goo eyes at Gates (Nic Bishop), while they figure out where Zoe (Christina Chong) went, and who is a traitor. Michael sacrificed himself for Laurel, but don’t worry. He’s okay.

Last week on Dominion, Alex (Christopher Egan), Noma (Kim Engelbrecht), and the former 8-Ball-turned human, get captured by Julian (Simon Merrells), the leader of New Delphi. Alex really wants to strike a deal because of their mutual hate of Gabriel (Carl Beukes). Julian is skeptical, but is more inclined to once Gabriel shows up for Alex, and if Alex retrieves a key for him in an 8-ball pit. Michael (Tom Wisdom) inadvertantly causes an innocent to be killed in Mallory. And Claire (Roxanne McKee) sets David (Anthony Head) up with a trained naked 8-Ball (ok really it was Arika – Shivani Ghai).

Last week on Dominion, we had an action-packed episode, filled with gore, naked angel ass, and holy fire. Claire (Roxanne McKee), to David’s (Anthony Head) fury, dropped a bomb on Gabriel’s (Carl Beukes) aerie, tearing many of his minions to pieces, but failing to disintigrate the main target. It did allow Alex (Christopher Egan) and Noma (Kim Engelbrecht) to escape. And somehow, Alex’s tattoos cured an 8-Ball, and now they have a human tagalong. Michael (Tom Wisdom) happened upon a town, protected by a fire in the center, that keeps 8-balls away. They believe they speak to God. Michael is skeptical, however, fights alongside them when the fire goes out during a storm.

Dominion on Syfy returned for season 2 last Thursday night, and did not short us on excitement and beheadings. Loosely based on the film Legion, Season 1 was 8 episodes, and introduced us to the battle between angels and humans. God is missing (Dogma?), and almost all of the angels led by the archangel Gabriel (Carl Beukes), want to destroy them all. He recruits lesser angels called 8-balls – angel-possessed humans, named as such for their all black eyes. They are vicious and snarl a lot with their sharp teeth. Set 25 years after God disappeared, this apocalyptic show finds humans settled in the city of Vega (short for Las Vegas). The archangel Michael (Tom Wisdom) has sided with humanity. There is also a prophecy of a “Chosen One” in the form of Alex (Christopher Egan), who is Charlie’s son from Legion. Alex has moving tattoos that give him guidance. And Claire (Roxanne McKee) is the head of Vega, and having Alex’s baby. Oh, and I think Giles, I mean David Whele (Anthony Head), is evil. Caught up?
