BAADASSSSS’ 11 Favorite (and 3 Least Favorite) Films Of 2014
  |

Hey there freaks and geeks, BAADASSSSS! is here with a list of the best films I saw in 2014. Instead of doing the traditional top ten list as originally planned, I decided to take a cue from the great Nigel Tufnel and crank this sucker up to 11 (yes, I am aware that some people are doing top 20 lists, top 50 lists, top 100 lists, etc., but I didn’t see enough of last year’s releases to make a list quite that long). So you will find on this list my ten favorite films that were released last year, one that wasn’t, and my three choices for the worst of the year. And the hell with round numbers.

Check Out This Trailer For All The Comic Book Movies Of 2014
  |  @   |

If your movie dream is to see a single movie that features all of the comic book movies of last year together as one—which is probably no one, because that doesn’t make very much sense—this trailer is the closest you’ll get.

A French graphic designer and editor by the name of Michaël Deleau cut together a two-minute trailer that fuses together the many comic book movies of 2014, including Guardians of the Galaxy, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, X-Men: Days of Future Past, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, 300: Rise of an Empire, and The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Basically it’s a trailer for the summer movie season, and you can check it out below.

The Digital Wire Blu-ray/DVD Release News: Sin, Simpsons, Stallone
  |

Welcome to another shiny new edition of The Digital Wire! Despite that exuberant fanfare, I am sad to announce that this week has been mighty slim in the realm of Blu-ray and DVD release news and the titles we have to report on won’t get much interest as they are all part of tired franchises, but one of the purposes of this feature is to give such titles the space they deserve. Besides, you may be interested in one or more of them.

We would greatly appreciate it if you use those links to order because a small percentage of each order helps keep this website running at max power.
