‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’: Spidey’s Latest Webspin Can Be Yours To Own On Digital, 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD Soon
It was exciting to see how Spider-Man’s (Tom Holland) role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe could have expanded given the events of Avengers: Endgame, and the ending for Spider-Man: Far From Home told us that it would have been a significant one. However, given recent events, it seems like the Webhead’s stay is coming to an end. Even those at the top recognize how their relationship wasn’t meant to last. Still, that doesn’t mean we can’t look back and enjoy the temporary arrangement.
And now, we can remember how Spidey’s presence in the MCU was everything that Spider-Man fans hoped it would be as Spider-Man: Far From Home makes its way to home video. D23 Expo 2019: Tom Holland and Kevin Feige Share Their Thoughts On Spider-Man Break-Up
|
Given the recent success of Spider-Man films after joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there was some hope that Disney and Sony would continue to play nice with each other. However, that all came to a crashing halt when it was confirmed that the deal to share the character was off, and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige would no longer produce any new Spider-Man titles. But none are more disappointed than the two people at the center of all of this, Feige and star Tom Holland. While at the D23 Expo, the two were able to share their thoughts on the split. Check out what they had to say below.

As we wait to hear more about the fallout between the two, Sony is attempting to come out of this ahead by placing the blame on Disney and calling the break-up “disappointing.” More on the report below.

MCU Spider-Man Gets Blipped As Marvel Studios Ends Its Relationship With Sony Pictures
Spider-Man has seen better days. The character went from being the sunny webslinging hero of the Marvel Cinematic Universe to being a pile of dust in just three films, only to be brought back once more to save the universe and then go on vacation – which ended up being completely ruined. The future of your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man looked like it was going to be bright considering all of the success the character had when Marvel Studios stepped in to save the character after an abysmal reboot.
However, it looks like the era of the MCU Spider-Man (played by Tom Holland) may have spun its last web as reports are saying that Marvel Studios will no longer produce any more Spider-Man films after they and Sony failed to reach an agreement. More on the report below.
