‘Star Trek Beyond’ Trailer: Less “Sabotage” More Excitement
  |  @   |

A common criticism of the first Star Trek Beyond trailer was that it looked more like director Justin Lin took themes and elements of the Fast and Furious franchise and injected it into the lifeblood of Star Trek. However, this new one just released by Paramount Pictures is something that truly can carry the name Star Trek.

Check out the latest trailer here below, along with a new teaser poster.

  |  @   |

It has reached a point where covering trailers isn’t enough, now it is when said trailer will be released. A lot of that applies to the bigger blockbuster films, and sometimes the reporting is right, and other times it is wrong. Just like how we thought the trailer for Captain America: Civil War would debut in front of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but rather it aired during a showing of Jimmy Kimmel Live.

But, there will be trailer for a blockbuster movie attached to The Force Awakens, but it is a different sort of movie with Star in the title. According to a new report, the first trailer for Star Trek Beyond will appear in front of theatrical showings of The Force Awakens. More on the story below.

‘Star Trek Beyond’ Remembers Leonard Nimoy (Video)
  |  @   |

Back in July we found out that Star Trek Beyond, the third entry in the rebooted Star Trek movie franchise, was doing a contest for a chance to win a role in the movie (similar to what former Trek director J.J. Abrams and company did for Star Wars: The Force Awakens) all in the name of charity.

That contest is in its last week, and to make the final stretch special it was decided to dedicate the week to the great Leonard Nimoy, the Star Trek legend who sadly passed away back in February. The contest benefits many charities but in order to honor Nimoy, a charity that he cared deeply for, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, is being spotlighted.

A short video was released to announce the news and remember Nimoy, with current Spock actor Zachary Quinto fittingly front and center. You can watch the video below.
