‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’: Finn Just Can’t Get Out Of The Resistance
  |  @   |

Finn (John Boyega) is the reluctant hero of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. While he may know right from wrong, he doesn’t exactly want to be in the heat of battle. But when the time calls for it, he will fight until the bitter end. So even though he had a chance to escape to the Outer Rim, he chose to join The Resistance on their mission to bring down the Starkiller Base and rescue Rey (Daisy Ridley) from Kylo Ren (Adam Driver).

And even though he showed his grit and valor against Kylo Ren, he was soundly defeated. However, Rey was still able to rescue him, and had to leave the comatose hero to go find Luke. So while Finn was bound to wake up from his coma, it appears that there are still a few scars.

Some new Star Wars: The Last Jedi photos have been released, and we are learning a lot more about Finn’s trauma and how he cannot escape fighting for The Resistance. Check it out here below.

  |  @   |

The scarce amount of Star Wars: The Last Jedi material out there is leaving fans begging for anything that looks new. Of course, the last thing we saw came from a behind-the-scenes video at the D23 EXPO. Since then, there hasn’t been much to feed off of. Until now.

A bunch of new photos are included in Entertainment Weekly’s Fall Movie preview issue and with it some new plot details on the film. When we last saw Supreme Leader Snoke (Andy Serkis) in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, he ordered General Hux (Domhnall Gleeson) to go fetch Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) so that he may train him in the Dark Side of the Force. At the time, we only saw him in a holographic form, leaving his true look a mystery. For the past few D23 Expos, Lucasfilm has had at least one Star Wars thing to show attendees. So following the success of Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Rogue One: A Star Wars: Story, everyone was eagerly awaiting to see some brand new footage from Star Wars: The Last Jedi. ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ Filmmakers Talk Title’s Meaning
  |  @   |

In the past week, we’ve seen a handful of new images of the cast in costume and learned a lot about Star Wars: The Last Jedi. From new characters and locations to motivations and drives, the film is setting itself up to be one of the most exciting of 2017. But as much as we learned about the film this week, there’s more information coming out.

One of the things everyone is dying to know is the meaning of the title. As Luke Skywalker so ominously put it towards the end of the first trailer, “It’s time to bring the Jedi to an end.” Is he referring to himself, to Rey, or the entire Order? It’s not likely we’ll get answers, but director Rian Johnson and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy can provide vague answers. More on the story below.
